With the Silent Hill 2 remake just a few months away, Konami and Bloober Team have unveiled a new trailer that delves deep into the game’s haunting story. While the gameplay has been updated for modern audiences, the creative team has confirmed that the original story remains untouched.
The narrative takes place in the unsettling, fog-laden town of Silent Hill. Players follow James Sunderland as he receives a mysterious letter from his deceased wife, Mary, urging him to return to the town. Driven by a mix of guilt and longing, James embarks on a harrowing journey to uncover the truth behind his wife’s death, facing nightmarish creatures and enigmatic characters along the way.
Silent Hill 2 will be released on October 8th for PS5 and PC.
