Marvel Studios is bringing back James Spader to reprise his role as Ultron in the upcoming Vision series! Spader originally voiced the villainous AI robot in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, where his performance left a lasting impression. Fans can look forward to hearing his voice once again as he takes on the role of Ultron in this new series.

Spader will join Paul Bettany, who is returning as Vision, the android who formed a deep bond with Scarlett Witch before being destroyed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Vision’s journey in the MCU has been complex and emotional, especially after the events of WandaVision, where two versions of Vision were introduced: one created by Wanda’s grief and another rebuilt as a white android with no memory of his past.

This upcoming series, unofficially titled Vision Quest, will explore what happened to the white Vision after the events of WandaVision. The show will delve into Vision’s search for a new purpose in life, and it will be interesting to see how Ultron factors into this story.

The series is being developed by Terry Matalas, the executive producer of Star Trek: Picard, who will serve as showrunner for the project.
