The Venom saga began in 2018 with a film directed by Ruben Fleischer, which was a huge success, grossing $856 million globally. While Andy Serkis took the reins for the 2021 sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, this time the franchise passes the torch to Kelly Marcel, making her directorial debut. Marcel, who has been closely involved in the series from the start, also wrote the screenplay for Venom: The Last Dance with star Tom Hardy, who returns as Eddie Brock/Venom.

This installment brings in an exciting cast, including Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Clark Backo (Letterkenny), and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness). While Ejiofor won’t be reprising his role as Baron Mordo, fans are eager to see how these new characters will impact the storyline. We also see our first look at likely the film’s antagonist Knull: God of the Symbiotes.

The official synopsis teases a thrilling conclusion for the beloved anti-hero: “Eddie and Venom are on the run, hunted by both of their worlds. Faced with an impossible decision, the duo must prepare for their final dance.”

As we approach the release date, fans can watch the new trailer and share their thoughts. Are you excited for the final chapter? Let us know in the comments!
