1. What inspired you to become a comic book artist, and how did you get started in the industry?
I’d always enjoyed drawing superheroes as a kid, especially Spider-Man. Started getting into the comic scene by going to comic convention. Meeting people in the industry.
2. Can you share some of your artistic influences and how they have shaped your style as a comic book artist?
I really enjoy the work of Arthur Adam’s, known for his details. Another Walter Simon son known for working on The Mighty Thor. Art style so simple but powerful at the same time. But my all time fav artist/creator is Kintaro Miura known for the manga Berserk, the action scene are so detailed and crazy.
3. When you approach a new project, what’s your creative process like, from concept to final page?
I usually thumbnail a bunch of ideas. Then pick which one I would composite. I focus a lot on layouts before adding final details.
4. What’s the most challenging aspect of illustrating action sequences or dynamic superhero battles in comic books?
For me is how each character would interact on the page, Especially there facial expressions. Even fighting pose I aim to make more realistic, just based on some knowledge in martial arts or a fan of professional wrestling! Lol also I avoid basic posing of characters just facing each other.
5. Are there specific characters or series that you dream of working on in the future as a comic book artist?
At the moment I have other ideas I got brewing. So mainly working on my own projects.

6. What’s your favorite comic/ manga series that you recommend?
Well if u enjoy fantastic and blood! Lol Berserk.
7. How do you balance staying true to the original character designs while infusing your own artistic flair into them?
I try to stay true on the design of the costume of the character, if the character is just wearing a skin tight suit? I would draw no armour plates or extra gear.
8. Can you share any memorable experiences or challenges you’ve faced while working on a particular comic book project?
Not much war stories! Lol I did the job and moved whatever drawing project came up.
9. In the digital age, how has technology impacted your workflow as a comic book artist, and what tools or software do you find most essential for your work?
When it comes to digital art, I find when working on comic pages so much much better. Edits a lot more easier to do. Doing a city landscape a lot more easy to layout compared doing the old way, to get those perspective points you had to expand off the page! But annoying.
10. What other do you like to do when you are not drawing? Any other hobbies?
Art related would be sculpting! But also enjoy fitness stuff like weightlifting.
