DC Studios has finally revealed the first full trailer for James Gunn’s Superman, and it’s nothing short of epic. Offering a fresh and heartfelt take on the Man of Steel, the trailer paints Superman as a beacon of hope—“the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way,” in a world that sees kindness as outdated.
This isn’t the DCEU as we’ve known it. Gunn’s new DC Universe sets Superman in a world where heroes have long existed, shaping history and redefining what it means to be a hero.
David Corenswet stars as the titular Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan as the sharp and fearless Lois Lane. The stellar ensemble also includes Nicholas Hoult as a calculating Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White. Milly Alcock takes on Supergirl, joined by Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner, and a slew of heroes and villains—from Mister Terrific to Metamorpho.
With heart, legacy, and high-flying action, Superman is set to soar into theaters on July 11, 2025—ushering in a bold new era for the DC Universe.
