At this year’s AnimeExpo, Warner Bros Japan debuted an exciting first look at Batman Ninja Vs. Yakuza League. This new adventure pits Batman against twisted versions of his greatest allies. According to the promotional material, Batman will face off against dark versions of Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz), Aquaman, The Flash, and Wonder Woman. These heroes, now sporting menacing new looks, have seemingly fallen to the dark side.
Just like in the original Batman Ninja animated movie, Bruce Wayne dons a costume reflecting the feudal Japan setting. The first movie in this series featured Batman battling iconic villains such as the Joker and Gorilla Grodd, who also received samurai-inspired redesigns. Now, with Batman facing an evil Justice League, the stakes are higher than ever. This new installment promises to deliver intense action and fresh challenges for the Dark Knight.
