The wait is over—Marvel Studios has finally released the first trailer for Ironheart, and it’s already igniting major buzz. Originally teased years ago at D23 Expo, fans can now get their first official look at Riri Williams, the next-gen armored hero ready to carve her place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Premiering June 24, 2025, Ironheart kicks off with a three-episode debut on Disney+, giving audiences a hefty introduction to Riri’s world. The six-episode season’s remaining release schedule is still under wraps.
Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ironheart follows teen prodigy Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) as she returns to her hometown of Chicago. Driven by genius and ambition, she crafts cutting-edge iron suits that catch the attention of not only tech enthusiasts, but also unexpected threats. Chief among them is Parker Robbins, aka The Hood (played by In the Heights star Anthony Ramos), a villain who blends street-level mystique with dark magic—setting up a compelling clash between technology and the supernatural.
The series also stars Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. Behind the scenes, a powerhouse team of executive producers—Kevin Feige, Ryan Coogler, Chinaka Hodge, and more—promises to bring depth, heart, and action to the series. Hodge also serves as head writer, while direction is split between Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes.
With high-tech suits, magical intrigue, and a young hero ready to rise, Ironheart is shaping up to be a bold new chapter in the MCU—one that fans won’t want to miss.
