LEGO has revealed an exciting new set inspired by the iconic film “Jaws,” slated for release on August 1, 2024. Announced through a playful Instagram Reel, the teaser features a LEGO swimmer minifigure in a humorous recreation of the classic “Jaws” movie poster, with Bruce the shark in a less menacing role.

This LEGO Ideas set, containing 1,497 pieces, includes a meticulously detailed buildable Orca boat and minifigures of Chief Brody, Matt Hooper, and Quint. The Orca measures 14 inches (35 centimeters) high, while the diorama base spans 23 inches (59 centimeters) wide and features white pieces simulating ocean waves. A plaque on the base showcases the LEGO and “Jaws” logos alongside Chief Brody’s famous line, “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.”

Additionally, the set includes a buildable Bruce the shark, with an optional display stand for those who prefer not to use the diorama base. The Orca itself is packed with familiar details and accessories from the film, such as a map, a coffee mug, a letter, and the iconic yellow barrels.

Pre-orders are not yet available, so fans should keep an eye out for further updates. This set celebrates the legacy of the 1975 thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, which remains a landmark in cinematic history.
