Nintendo has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, offering fans their first glimpse of the gameplay. Published by Outright Games, this new title follows the events of the animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and is sure to appeal to Ninja Turtles enthusiasts.
The game features familiar villains like Rocksteady and Leatherhead, along with new characters, all designed by Woodrow White, the lead character designer from Mutant Mayhem.
The trailer teases an adventure packed with action, humor, and, of course, pizza. Players can join the crime-fighting brothers—Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey—on a mission to stop a sinister malaise spreading through the city. The game offers both solo play and two-player co-op, with each turtle having a unique playstyle and a skill tree for unlocking new moves.
Set in a dynamic, open-world New York, players can explore the city’s locations by grinding on rails with skateboards, with levels featuring a day-night cycle. The game also brings back the voices of Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Brady Noon (Raphael), Micah Abbey (Donatello), and Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo). Mutants Unleashed will be released on October 18th.
