Hold onto your capes, folks! Fresh set photos from James Gunn’s highly anticipated “Superman” film have surfaced, offering fans an exciting look at the iconic Daily Planet building. The images reveal the installation of the legendary globe, a staple of the building’s aesthetic that fans will instantly recognize. We see the globe being delivered and then perched majestically above the entrance, setting the stage for some truly epic scenes.

But that’s not all! The photos also show the street outside the Daily Planet strewn with building rubble and debris being delivered via trucks. This hints at some intense action sequences involving the beloved newspaper headquarters. Could Metropolis be in for a wild ride? It certainly looks that way!

James Gunn’s take on the Man of Steel will delve into “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.” Gunn describes this Superman as “the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”

The star-studded cast includes David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and Terence Rosemore as Otis. Recently added to the cast is Beck Bennett, who will play Steve Lombard.

“Superman” is set to launch the movie portion of DC Studios’ ambitious “Gods and Monsters: Part 1” and is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. This film promises to be a cornerstone of the new DC universe, blending classic Superman elements with fresh, modern storytelling.
